SenseTime announced its latest generative AI model, SenseNova 5.0

Two days ago, the Chinese AI software company SenseTime announced its latest generative AI model, called SenseNova 5.0.

Since its debut in April 2023, it has gone over a lot of training, and is currently in its fifth iteration. The company said that the major advancements in SenseNova 5.0 focus on knowledge, mathematics, reasoning, and coding capabilities, and its chairman reportedly claimed it was better than OpenAI’s GPT 4 and other competitors in terms of logical reasoning, Chinese-language usage, image recognition tasks, and more.

This makes us question if this model will catch up to its American competitors, and will the Chinese language be a barrier when adapting it into English?

All we have to do is wait for it to be evaluated, and the results will tell us everything.
